Challenge
Acer Germany wanted to move beyond ad hoc AI experimentation and develop a more structured internal capability for identifying, evaluating, and advancing AI use cases. The objective was to establish a repeatable process for finding and prioritising valuable opportunities, grounded in a clear understanding of business requirements and supported by well-defined use-case specifications, rather than focusing on low-impact initiatives or advancing ideas without sufficient clarity.
Approach
Experiens AI provided targeted training to an existing cross-functional, local AI task force, enabling it to develop a deeper understanding of AI capabilities and translate this into well-defined use-case specifications and initial working prototypes. Hands-on workshops built a shared foundation in AI and enabled participants to connect the technology with practical operational opportunities.
Working with the task force, Experiens AI helped map automation and AI potential across relevant business functions. Promising ideas were then developed into defined use cases and assessed according to their potential value, feasibility, and suitability for further development.
Outcome
The local task force developed the methods and confidence required to identify, assess, and prioritise further opportunities internally, as well as to develop initial prototypes. The engagement therefore produced more than a list of ideas: it established a repeatable internal process for turning AI interest into structured action.
“Experiens AI helped us turn scattered AI interest into a structured and practical capability. Through hands-on workshops and coaching, our teams learned how to identify and prioritise relevant opportunities and develop initial concepts and prototypes themselves. We came away with both a clear pipeline of use cases and greater internal confidence to take them forward.”
